I eventually realized that I could no longer wait for the tides to turn or for permission to exist. Leon Miles is the moment I stopped waiting. He's serving as the bridge that allows me to move again.

Breaking the silence is my ultimate act of defiance. It is the decision to create resonance where there was once only a forced, hollow quiet. I play music to honor the truth of the life I’ve lived. Because even when you are told to be quiet, the soul never stops searching for its way to be heard.

Behind Leon Miles is me, Claus. As a Danish musician and producer with over two decades of experience, I’ve seen it all - from technical studio precision to global humanitarian projects like producing "Walk The World" for the United Nations World Food Programme.

Despite those years in the industry, I often felt my own voice was missing. Leon Miles is my way of reclaiming that space. I use my experience to help myself and others find the heart of a song. It’s not about hitting the perfect note; it’s about finding the courage to be heard, exactly as you are.

The silence is over - not because the world changed, but because I stopped obeying the rules and the control that kept me silent.

For years, I lived under a set of invisible, forced expectations and rules that made it feel almost prohibited to simply be myself. I was expected to stay in the shadows, to keep my voice low, and to accept a version of my life that wasn't mine to own. Finding the Key is the raw, unfiltered documentation of the moment I decided to stop playing along.

The film follows the birth of my alter ego, Leon Miles. While my heart as Claus still carries the history of what was lost, Leon Miles travels with an empty backpack. He is the version of me that refuses to be governed by the past. He is the vessel that allows me to finally record the album that has lived inside me for decades.

The film captures:

• The Break: Walking away from forced "rules" and the weight of external control to start over with a clean slate.

• The Search: Traveling through new landscapes and finding resonance in the stories of others who have found their way through the dark.

• The Creation: The raw, unpolished process of songs taking shape in the field - far away from the pressure of perfection and the echoes of the past.

Ultimately, this project explores a singular, driving question: When the journey ends and the album is ready to be recorded, who will be standing behind the mic? Will Claus finally be ready to reclaim the voice that was kept in the dark? Or is Leon Miles the person Claus was supposed to be all along? Or even better - will Leon Miles have become the spark that melts the two into one stronger, truer, and louder unit?
